Anaheim Rapid Connection is a fixed-guideway system currently in the environmental review process that will connect Anaheim area destinations like never before. Starting at ARTIC, this new system will take visitors, high-speed rail riders, employees and area residents to and from the Platinum Triangle, the Anaheim Resort Area and the Convention Center. With ARC it has never been easier for conventioneers to catch a ball game, out-of-towners to get to Disneyland, residents to dine at The Shops at Anaheim GardenWalk, or thousands of area employees to get to and from work - all without having to drive.

ARC will be a high-capacity approximate 3.5 mile system, providing convenient and efficient transfers to Metrolink, Amtrak, local bus and future bus rapid transit and high-speed train services connecting to ARTIC.

During the construction phase, an estimated 19,000 jobs will be created.

It will relieve traffic on local freeways and roadways, improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gases.

By investing in much-needed infrastructure and congestion relief, ARC will enable future growth.

Work is currently underway preparing an alternatives analysis and environmental documentation to meet federal and state requirements. Alternatives under review include an elevated fixed guideway, semi-exclusive at-grade bus rapid transit and transportation system management improvements such as enhanced local bus service and express service.
